The Beginning

It is so apt that the blog begin with a serious debate on what is and what is not patriotism towards India. Considering the amount of debates and discussions that have taken place in the last year or two, I think this should be a place to register all the interesting ones. And so I begin with the topic that is on everybody's mind, and for the start I am just posting excerpts of the discussion in the mails. Just so that other people can see..

"My vote goes to sreeram 100%.if you want to change the SYSTEM be a part of it not just sitting outside and throwing stones at it. Dont blame politicians or beaureaucrats......its a cycle in which everyone is responsible for it. The most stressful, strainful, tough, hardest career in this world is politician. Its not easy to enter and sustain in politics. It requires lots of guts. Its easy to say but difficult to do!

Dont blame public servants they are doing so much work with limited resources they have. They can earn more by doing private jobs for their talent. Being a public servant requires lot of dedication, sincerety and mindset to serve poor."

Salute to all politicians and beaureaucrats( not corrupted ones). If you dont recognize their services thts fine but atleast dont blame them. Yaa they should be answerable to public but not only whenever some incident like this happens....they should be questioned and make them feel responsible in every minute of their term."

If I am not wrong, Ruling Party will have control over the operations of those things..that means political leaders are someway or the otherway responsible for it. I dont completely blame them. Try to listen to the oath of political leaders....... I am sure that there will be a line which says " maintaining peace & harmony (shanthi badrathala gurinchi ) " If they cant keep up their promises....people have the right to blame them . Isnt it??

I agree that Hotel management is careless....but how about avoiding the entry of those people into the city? U can think this situation....if they can enter the city....they can shoot at a vegetable market/heavily crowded area where I guess no metal detector is a hindrance for them......

Now if we make sure that they dont enter the city.......their option is to attack border security.....now they attack on armed and trained people ...instead of unarmed and innocent people......."

"I have written here and here about what I felt and thought. There will be more opinions, there will be further discussions. But for that we wait, we argue to find solutions; But there will be more problems than solutions, at least we are trying to look for them. Small steps, but in the right direction. Everyone is a patriot today, just dont forget it in a couple of months. Put that as a reminder for every week or a month. Remind yourselves, ourselves that we are Indians (and also humas ?) before we do something for the country and perhaps ultimately for humanity itself too. Problems we face are not limited to India."
